Consumer AI software and education

Oleve

Oleve builds consumer software, including the education products Quizard and Unstuck AI, from New York City. Its student tools apply AI to learning: Unstuck lets students upload course materials, record lectures, get notes and transcripts, create flashcards, and test themselves with custom quizzes. Course organization and file chat bring those materials into a single study app.

Quizard launched from a college dorm room in 2023. Its co-founders are Michael Giardino, CEO; Sidhant Bendre, CTO; and Achraf Golli, CPO. Oleve’s engineering approach emphasizes infrastructure shared across products, including tools for experimentation. The team tests onboarding, paywalls, pricing, and retention, and publishes playbooks describing its approaches to scaling AI experiences, validating product ideas, and developing viral distribution.

The business rebranded to Oleve in 2025; in his retrospective for that year, Bendre reported more than 8 million downloads across the portfolio. Its consumer business uses a freemium model with subscriptions: a 2025 founder interview described weekly and annual plans.
