Dr. Sajjan Kanukolanu

Conference affiliation: Position² · 2026

Dr. Sajjan Kanukolanu is vice president of global operations and strategy at Position², where he leads services teams and the company’s transition toward AI-native go-to-market operations. His work turns scattered marketing and sales data into coordinated systems that recognize prospective buyers, prioritize accounts, and guide personalized outreach.

Before Position², Kanukolanu held senior roles at Ogilvy, Razorfish, and Wunderman across the United States and Asia, supporting brands including Cisco, Sony, American Express, AT&T, Nokia, Siemens, and Match.com. He holds a doctorate in marketing and advised the University of San Francisco’s strategic AI program from June 2024 through June 2025. His published writing traces a progression from search, mobile engagement, and advertising technology toward customer experience, organizational growth, and collaboration between people and artificial intelligence.

  • Three-layer buyer-intelligence architecture: Kanukolanu organizes AI-enabled sales infrastructure around signal collection, buyer intelligence, and action. CRM activity, LinkedIn engagement, job changes, and website visits feed a shared knowledge base that informs account scoring, personalized outreach, sales alerts, and CRM updates.
  • Account context graphs: He connects individual contacts, employers, buying committees, previous conversations, and deal histories into a shared account-level picture. A customer champion joining another company, for example, can reveal a promising account before its representatives initiate contact.
  • Coordinated agent swarms: His framework for specialized agent systems distributes research, enrichment, scoring, execution, and quality control among cooperating agents, with people overseeing governance and consequential decisions.
  • Separate fit from buying intent: Matching an ideal customer profile does not mean a prospect is ready to purchase. Kanukolanu scores those dimensions independently and emphasizes auditable routing, visitor-identification limits, manageable sales alerts, and sales-outcome feedback loops that continually update account criteria.

His AI Engineer World’s Fair 2026 presentation demonstrates these principles through Position² workflows combining anonymous-visitor identification, LinkedIn intelligence, HubSpot activity, account prioritization, and personalized engagement.
