AI collaboration assessment

DevDay

DevDay developed an AI collaboration assessment platform. Its early work involved pilots with selected users and feature refinement ahead of a planned public launch; the available account does not establish that the launch took place.

Founded by Beth Glenfield, DevDay assessed engineering candidates through simulated work with AI teammates, including agents playing perfectionists, pragmatists, security specialists, and junior engineers needing guidance. Candidates balanced speed against safety, handled changing sprint requirements, and explained technical decisions in pull request descriptions, comments, and tickets. The assessment focused on collaboration and technical judgment rather than isolated coding exercises.

In a retrospective on 2025, Glenfield described working on DevDay with a collaborator and pursuing separate next chapters in 2026. She subsequently joined Sierra. That transition does not establish a DevDay acquisition or closure, and its current commercial availability remains unverified.
