Enterprise AI development, operations, and governance

DataRobot

DataRobot provides software for enterprises to build, deploy, monitor, and govern predictive models and AI agents. Its automated machine learning tools help data scientists and analysts prepare data, train and compare models, and integrate predictions into business applications. The Agent Workforce Platform extends that scope to agents integrated with business processes. It supports customer-supplied models across public clouds, private clouds, on-premises infrastructure, and air-gapped environments, with governance and monitoring for regulated industries such as financial services and healthcare.

Jeremy Achin and Tom DeGodoy founded DataRobot in 2012 after working together at Travelers Insurance, aiming to address a shortage of data science expertise. Debanjan Saha is its current CEO. Its engineering work includes syftr, an open-source framework that uses multi-objective Bayesian optimization to search complete generative AI workflows for accuracy, cost, and latency trade-offs. Its Pareto Pruner stops evaluations unlikely to improve those trade-offs.

DataRobot acquired Agnostiq and its Covalent distributed computing platform in 2025, adding compute-orchestration technology. The company reported serving one-third of the Fortune 50 in 2021, when it announced a $300 million Series G at a $6.3 billion post-money valuation. Annual recurring revenue reached $176 million in the fiscal year ending January 2022, up 25% from the prior year.
